Went to Dockside Dave's for the first time last week, it was awesome... Drove from Bradenton to eat there with a friend and it was well worth the drive. We had the grouper sandwich which was out of this world, also had grouper fritters and the ever so yummy onion rings. The service was fast the waitress was very accommodating and the atmosphere was very pleasant. I would give it 5 stars any day of the week and have already recommended it to friends in the area. It will definitely be a place that I will return to for a great meal.

Dinner

Island Way Grill is a best place for seafood and wine and the Sunday Brunch at the Island Way Grill is as good as it gets. An extensive selection of freshly prepared goodies are available from 11-3 every Sunday. Need an "Eye-Opener" after a Saturday night on-the-town? The bar opens when we do! Enjoy a complimentary Mimosa or glass of champagne, or feel free to order your favorite libation.

St. Petersburg has a branch of the state university, the University of South Florida St. Petersburg, as well as St. Petersburg College and Eckerd College. The Poynter Institute, a school for journalists, future journalists and teachers of journalism, is also located in St. Petersburg. The non-profit school is the owner of the St. Petersburg Times, a unique arrangement devised by the founder of both, Nelson Poynter.
