Not only does the drive offer spectacular views of the Gulf of Mexico, it also offers several opportunities for you to visit a number of beaches. Pack your swimwear and water sports gears, and get going. Explore the community of Belleair Beach and discover its attractions; Visit Indian Rocks Beach and test its waters; go fishing at Redington Beach or just chill out at Madeira Beach. From Clearwater, •Head south on N Fort Harrison Ave toward Cleveland St •Continue onto S Ft Harrison Ave •Turn right at Court St •Continue straight onto Pierce Blvd •Continue onto Clearwater Memorial Causeway •At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Causeway Blvd/Clearwater Memorial Causeway •Continue onto Coronado Dr •Turn right at County Rd 699/Gulfview Blvd and continue driving along this road. From here you can turn left at Treasure Island Causeway and make your way into the heart of the city where you can enjoy the many attractions it has to offer such as Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary, Captain Memo's Original Pirate Cruise, The Pier Aquarium, The Marina and more. Continue driving south to beautiful St. Pete Beach. Splash in the shallows of peaceful Pass-A-Grille Beach or explore St. Pete Area preserves and enjoy activities like hiking, camping and bird watching. |
