My Perfect Weekend... |
|
| Our longed- for travel to Clearwater metro is the best gift that my college friends and I could ever think of for ourselves. We barely got time to relax and unwind because of the strict deadlines by our university professors so when this chance came, we sure did everything we can to enjoy it to the fullest. We never intended to spend a weekend of splurging in plates after plates of delightful food but Clearwater restaurants just made it all easy on us to forget our obsessive weight- watching. We heard that Lenny’s Restaurant has been voted as the Best of the Bay for several times already and we can never complain about the recognition because the food is magnificent. At 21220 US Highway 19 N. We had to make quite a number of U- Turns to find this place but it is definitely an amazing find. The moment we went in, my girlfriends and I all nodded in agreement to how the place is cutely designed. And of course, what matters most is how the food was reasonably priced. The pancakes I had were nothing short of impeccable. I am pretty sure, that was why the place was buzzing even at brunch time. Casa Tina Gourmet Mexican and Vegetarian Cuisine was a swell place to have lunch if you’ll ask me. We went there at its Downtown Dunedin address and we were welcomed by the colorful interior and the warm atmosphere. It just gave a hint of the authentic Mexican delicacies that were waiting for us. I have only read and heard about the incredible Mexican dish named Mole Poblano and God knows, I almost sang a Mexican song in excitement. We were driving around my friend’s borrowed car and made it to an early dinner in Island Way Grill. It was pretty packed when we arrived, and why not, the place is stellar and the people are all smiles including the staff. The restaurant championed food derived from nothing but the freshest meats of fish, among their other dishes proudly promoted by the restaurant. If I were you, you should also try the Seafood Tempura and the Seafood Imperial that we had eaten. It was a divine experience, no kidding. |
